I have read through all the posts here and I to am sorry it has come to this. I have bought and sold here and admit I was slow to ship and got paid for a part that i didn't ship. But I was willing to load a car and tow it halfway accross the country for a member. it's not so much protecting deev as it is making members aware of the situation. In ATX's wake Deev took over the duties of the site. He was willing to pay for it. He has never grumbled about the cost of the site, and im sorry if i made it sound like he does.
Who got the site was the person who was willing to pay for it.you're right, Deev didnt have to accept but he did and for that we should be grateful at least a little. And in all honestly we are indebted to him every time we come on here to look something up or ask for help or anything, it's because he's kept this site running. Same goes for Steve, we're indebted to him for creating this site in the first place.

mann I haven't done that much reading for a long time now... so sad to come back here and seeing all yous with this issue.. if im the admin I'll do the same thing.... its his site so its his call.... just my forecast.. this issue will be over in a few months and the "classified will come back"... I'll just keep on believing.... when that day comes... hell I got tons of stuff to sell and buy.... in the mean time the "pm me sig local meet" will do for now....

on a wider note.... many of you seem to think this is a democracy, and you have a say in what goes on at CB7tuner..... well, it isn't and you don't.

And for those who donated and think you are entitled to more of a say in what happens here, you are sadly mistaken. You donation is just that.... a donation. It doesn't gain you stock in CB7tuner, and I can assure you it will not prevent you from getting banned.

I have a website thats been running for about 2 years now with approx 10,000 active members, and we've had little to NO incident with unruly members, because we made this point right from the start.

I bet Deev is just sitting back watching this thread unfold. Bottom line is it is his site and he can do whatever he feels necessary, whether you agree or disagree it's his decision. He has the last word. If people want to go somewhere else to buy stuff then great let them go, and if people want to stay and bitch then let them!...but it won't bring back the classifieds. If Deev wants to bring it back that's his choice, although he might make some drastic changes to the rules of the classifieds.
Just for a second put yourself in his shoes....what would you do? He has people e-mailing him, pm him all day everyday about scammers, then he has people e mailing him and pm him about closing the classifieds because THEY don't think it's right! Well, how would you maturely handle a situation like this. He's in a tough spot because there are so many people that disagree with what he did. He might change his mind, but that's up to him because it is after all his site. Imagine you didn't know who ran the site and the same thing happened...what would you do? You have a choice to stay or leave, I don't think Deev will care all that much because there are people here who will stay here because this site is more than just the damn classified section. I say let's give Deev a break from all this for a day or two (or maybe a week or two) let the storm pass and see what happens after that. BTW have you noticed how Deev hasn't posted much in this thread, and I don't blame him because what he did was an executive decision and there are always people who are going to be pissed, but that's your choice to be pissed. He made a choice and he has the right to, because he is the one who owns the damn site. We have a choice to be here or not, if we don't like the choice then I would say maybe you should go somewhere else for a while and who knows check back in a month maybe the classifieds will be back.

I'm not all that upset that the classifieds are gone, I just wish I saw this thread yesterday. Because today I was taking pics of over 45 parts I was planning on putting up for sale...

Anyways I think and (hope) the classifieds will be back up, it's just a matter of time.
