I removed the Classified forums for the time being. They're still there, just locked and invisible. They will remain that way.

I've been hearing a lot about people getting scammed lately, and I'm just sick of it. I've said it over and over again... "protect yourself, because I have no sympathy for people who don't"... still, I get people complaining to me constantly.

I can't control scammers.
I can't seem to educate people.
I WON'T get involved in business I should not be involved in.
I WON'T have flaming on my site because of scamming.


So, the best way to simply eliminate all of that is to remove the Classifieds. End of story. Done. There is no longer a forum to buy and sell here. Take it to ebay.

I may re-create the Classifieds as an Ebay-only forum. They ONLY way to sell things is to post Ebay links. Anything else would get deleted.


I'm sorry it has come to this, but I'm sick and tired of hearing it. People wanted to know what I was going to do about it... I can't ban scammers, because they'll come back. I can't force anyone to pay or send parts, because I have no power in that area. I can't make any sort of "reliable" feedback system, because it doesn't exist... a good seller can turn into a bad seller instantly, and then suddenly MY feedback system is to blame. "But they had great feedback!"
So, what did I do about it? I removed the problem. The Classifieds Forum.


I sincerely apologize to the legitimate buyers and sellers in those forums with ongoing threads. I know it isn't fair, but people getting scammed isn't either... I'm done with all the whining. People won't learn, so I took the only action I could.

It sucks that stupid ass scammers and jackasses gotta ruin shit for everyone else. It's like a fuckin kindergarden on this site sometimes and it gets pretty ridiculous sometimes.

If that's how it stays, it's good. At least people can take action, other than complaining to me or flaming on the site about it. You scam someone in person, they're right there... or they can find you if they find out later.

I'm just worried about people surfing through the Regional Forums, finding something for sale, asking for it to be shipped... and causing the same issues I'm trying to avoid.

Evidently, you fail to understand the fact that this is deev's website. It's his to run any way he wants. He pays for this website out of his very own pocket. You don't. You have no right to tell him how to run HIS website. Hell, you're not even a contributing memeber. Stop whining. It's his site to edit/tweak/expand/shrink or otherwise change in any way he sees fit. what the fuck sorry for the attitude man, but so many people need these forums i meen deev i bought my car off the classified ya know, im tryin to sell stuff, and believe it or not, people get scammed less here than on honda tech or other such forums, my first buy on honda tech was a scam, i havent been scammed yet on cb7tuner for 3 years.

like you have been saying, you have to watch out for your ownself its not a democracy or whatever, and its the few people who scam people and the ones who dont pay attention to who they throw there money at before they search that are the cause of this.

im sorry but this really pisses me off. alot.
