all i can say is that we don't know what deev goes through to keep this site up or from losing his head with pms. I personally would like the classified to come back because we don't charge and arm and a leg for shit like ebay. buy now for 5 dollars shipping 50 dollars. Plus classified here is centered around cb7s and things that go with cb7s. You can learn a lot from just looking at the classified sections. But i mean the feedback idea is a great idea, if it is not abused such as someone not getting their item in a week so they leave bad feedback and then the item arrives a day after they left it then that person has bad feedback.

I would like to have classified back, it always helped me out when needed and if people used paypal they would not have to worry about getting scammed for paypal will give you a refund if you show them proof.

So maybe deev you should make it a rule that if you use classified you must have a paypal. I mean its free and all you need is a card of some sort. Not to hard and if you don't have a card, im sure you know someone who has a paypal.

my 2cents.....But i trust you deev you would not do anything to screw us over.

Heres one thing I do to keep from getting scammed. Pay with paypal and if you don't have a tracking # within 3 days file a dispute. that way the money is frozen until you get what you paid for. If the seller isn't a scammer they'll be in contact with you as soon as they see you paid them usaully.

It can be a dictatorship in that demand will stay the same, but supply will be limited...therefore everyone will have to buy from me! or i mean the cb7 members here haha

therefore, no one gets scammed, since who in their right mind, would waste 500 posts to scam a person when they can go to another forum and not have to was 500 posts. Its taken me a while to even get how many posts I have now...but I don't post that often i guess

true, but that would prevent the scammers who keep reopening accounts to try to sell their crap...Okay, lets say this person with like 500+ posts decides to scam someone...they get banned and they want to do it again...it would take 1000 posts for them then to do it, which in my opinion, scammers will just go to another forum where they can sell their stuff without needed to post much...
Also, you'd probably know if someone was a scammer if they make 500 posts about nothing....i guess if thats not enough you could make it 750, or even 1000

How about this:

Ebay has a custom API you can use to interface with their web site, and with it you can do an ebay search, and have the results apear within your own web site (in this case, cb7tuner.com).

When you want to sell something, you put it up on ebay, and you MAKE SURE you put your title in the following format:

"CB7tuner : your cb7tuner name : Description of item"

THen, it would be very simple to create an advanced search algorithm to search for any items that start with "CB7tuner", and we could have our own little custom Ebay here on the site, with the full protection of ebay and paypal.

Its something i would be willing to do, though i cant say id be able to do it all myself with the free time i have. Im a bit addicted to guitar hero, and im not sure I could pull myself away for long periods at a time.

The only fix for this that I can think of is that if you feel you have been scammed you (the buyer) provide all the proof that you have (Money Order Reciept, Registered mail reciept, Paypal information) to a moderator that takes care of just the FS section and then that same moderator gets the seller's side of the story.. If either of the two parties (Buyer or Seller) fails to help in the little investigation then that party should be banned for 2 weeks..

Yes I realize that deev more then likely doesnt have the time to take this on alone. I would be willing to be volunteer myself to take care of it for a trial run until deev can decide on whether or not he thinks it is working or not and if that time deev decides he doesnt like it or there is still too much trouble with the classifieds then they will be gone forever, and if he decides that this may just work then either he can appoint a new moderator to take care of it or find a new moderator to handle only the Classifieds. Just my two cents... Later

That is not something any of the moderators on this site want to deal with. Then the blame ends up shifting to us.
