it really blow becuz the "for sale" was how i was helping to finace my new build .........and helping others out but what ever do what u gotta do ive had several good transaction through the forum but most of the time when things seem to good to be true they 95% of the time are..........for the scammers out there that r responsable WAY TO GO DUMBASS!!!!

hey deev i didnt clearly read through every post so sorry if someone asked this but...

could we post up things we have for sale in our sigs, with a "pm me" or something. that way its dealt with person to person with no one else seeing it or fighting over parts. i know scamming could still happen, but it might work a little better.

That's not fair though... Honestly, there's no way to protect people, other than to remove the source of the trouble. I can't keep scammers from coming. I can't keep people from being stupid (no matter how many times I say it, nobody listens) All I can do is just take away the source of the problem. Can't sell = can't scam.

Honestly, NO selling at all on the board would be my preference, unless it was linked to an ebay listing. If it's on this forum, people are going to hold the forum accountable. Still a PITA.

You know honestly I usaully only come here for the classifieds but I found a timing belt sticky the other day that really helped me out. It's funny Ive never felt confident enough in anyone Ive seen on here to buy from them. Except D112crzy Because he's from Homemadeturbo.com
Over on HMT we have the best classifieds ever Because if someone comes in scamming they get delt with quickly we never forget and most of the time we have people that can find their personal information and then someone local goes and has a chat with them or LOL we blow up every phone they have all hours of the night. the old Callathon

it happens to everyone i got got fro about 600 on ebay learned a valuable lesson hasnt happened since im not tring to get rich jus get a little extra cash for my frank hell i got 2 kids and a wife every dollar helps ive overnighted stuff to people to get them running the next day eat money on shipping sometime cuz the quote was off so has others but were not bitchn you gatta weigh the good with the bad i maen its your site dont get me wrong but we all profit from it in our own way ive learned a lot here ive gave a lot here i meet some of the greatest people in the world here (wagalude,turbowwagon94,h23accord,bjaccord,ect...) and become close personal friends withm......point is you gotta know who your dealing with ......sorry for ramblin jus my 2cents

ive eatin money both ways before... i dont ever go around complaining about it... heck ive been scammed before... but you know what... it was my fault... i learned from it...
it seems that the more people bug deeves the longer he's going to hold out... I personally think that we should have a test that each member must take and pass before being allowed in the classifed forum... this way you know that they have read your warnings and tips... just a thought...

my thought is (even though i compleletly agree with you deeves) how are people going to learn if they can not act? they need to make the mistake if theyre going to learn from it i guess is what im trying to say... you can not protect them, as you were saying deeves, you can only warn them... and if they are not smart enough to stop getting scammed then they need to learn not to complain to you or flame others...
