Exactly. I honestly appreciate someone's last $2.47 in their Paypal account over $50 from someone who thinks they're buying immunity from the rules!
This whole site is about making the best of what you have, and appreciating it for what it is and what it can be. The money definitely helps, but sometimes it's just the sign of appreciation that makes the difference! It's worth paying for this site when I know there are others that care enough about it to dig into their pockets and send some money...
As Dave said, if every active member here sent $1, the site would be paid for for a year at least! That won't happen, though... and I don't expect it to. I don't expect anything, but it's nice when it happens!
Cisco, it's true... most of the people that ask for everything give nothing... and many of the people that help everyone out are also the ones to give money to keep the site going! There are two types of people... givers and takers. We DO have a lot of givers on here, though!
If you look at the members... we have quite a few Contributing Members. Even more than those that gave cash (or JUST cash), we have people that have donated their time to do great things for this site. The mods, of course, have contributed a lot of their time, effort, and knowledge to providing easily-referenced information. Many other members have taken their time to create valuable threads that have been made stickies (like customlowz's stuff in the Beginner Technical forum, and Accord R33's Wiki, which he made before becoming a mod... and AFTER he got rid of his CB7!). Members have taken the time to create graphics for the site... like Phempa's main pages (I have a new one to go up... I'll do that today). The CB7tuner.com main graphic was made by Steve and someone else, and I forget who at the moment!
Contributing valuable information doesn't get the title change, but it is always greatly appreciated. It's what makes this such a valuable place!
