I wan't to own a recording studio as well as make my own music. My major is music technology (making music/sound effects with computers basically).
But if we're talking DREAM jobs I want to be either a test driver for a major car company like Honda, Nissan, Mitsu, or any of the German companies. So I can drive all their prototypes and concepts. Either that or I want to be the host of a show like Top Gear.

"I wanna be a mutha fuckin hustla"

      >>>>>Retired<<<<<. Having to go to work everyday sucks big donky dick.

If you can find a career you love going to everyday, then you are ahead of 99% of the population. It doesn't really matter how much you make, you will always wanna make more. And making more will not make your job anymore enjoyable.

When I was getting out of High School in 2004 I wanted to get into either the US Air Force as a MP (Military Police) or Air Traffic Controller, or join the US Navy and be a "Shooter" on an aircraft carrier. "shooter" the the person on the flight deck of the carriers that lines up the aircraft before take off and all that stuff.

Both of those dreams were destroyed when I was diagnosed with ADHD... Now I dont know what my "DREAM" job would be really. Probably something driving everyday or being a Cop/Security person. Later

Maybe one day I'll work for CSIS (Canadian version of the CIA), but I doubt it, still being a professional spy would be cool
                  It is a good question.

I have wanted to be a pilot since I was 6.

Also, the CIA and FBI are recruiting like crazy.

My understanding is pretty much everything.

If you want to be a spy, you would be wanting CIA/NSA though.

Not so much the FBI, although they do some covert stuff.

Keep in mind, being a spy is not glorious, it's not James Bond. A good spy blends in, and is not noticed by anyone. Inconspicuous to the point where they wouldn't stand out if you walked by them in the park. You wouldn't give them a second thought if they passed you on the street. You have to be able to make and receive drops without attracting attention. It's more like being an undercover agent for an extended period of time.

If you're not good at your job, well, chances are you'll be outed and killed.

Working for the intelligence agency, like gathering intel would be a little less dangerous. They could definitely use people with an Arabic background, someone fluent in Arabic languages especially.

And being well versed on computers is a big plus.

Well I was an undercover shopper for a while....BTW it was boring as hell, thought I'd do some other stuff, but all I did was walk around the same damn store all day, thrying to find shoplifters. And my boss was a NUT.

I thought undercover shoppers were the ones that went around and judged whether employees were doing there job like greeting customers when they come within 10 feet and taking them to the product instead of telling them where it is.

They use those at my job, they try to explain it as a thinly veiled threat, but I don't trip over my feet to follow it. I'm just not a very cheery people person to begin with. Don't get me wrong, I'll help you though. But I'm not a ray of sunshine and I'm not always very approachable but I try to at least be the latter...

Then there's also the people that shop competitors to compare pricing. We did that at walmart, but it's supposed to be secret, sshhhh.

Sounds more like you did loss prevention/security which I think would be a similar position, if only much less serious. Because I've known good loss prevention guys, and I've known bad ones, and they do have to work like spies. Because if the thief (or would-be thief) realizes loss prevention is watching them, they'd drop and run, so to speak.

Yup, Loss Prevention is what I did and it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. My boss said that I would be moved up to do surveillance, but that never materialized. One guy I had to arrest for stealing shampoo, I felt really bad because I honestly thought that he put the shampoo and forgot about it. He even paid for all the other stuff in his basket, but just forgot the shampoo, nonetheless I had to arrest him and he was a nice guy and when the police arrived I found out that he was on parole for armed robbery
A "mystery shopper" is the one that goes around to different stores to evaluate someones performance, I never did that, but I was supposed to do other duties with the security company I was working for and one of them was to be an employee of a store (a fake employee because I was actually working for the security company) to find out if other employees where stealing from the store, but again that never happened, so I got frustrated at all the things they said I was going to do and never happened, so I quit. Plus I didn't enjoy arresting people all that much
