My career goals are always changing... This time last year, I was hoping to become a marriage counselor. I still want to, but I don't want to take the necessary steps to get there... not fun.

Currently, I'm working in the unpleasant end of the real estate and financial fields... foreclosures, bankruptcies, reposessions, and insurance losses. I just do field inspections at the moment, but I'm planning on taking classes to get a real estate license. From there, I want to get an appreniceship to become an appraiser. That leaves many doors open for me!

My career goal would be similar to most peoples, get paid alot with the least amount of work.

I considered many times to become a cop, but these NYPD get shitty beginning salary, and top pay isnt even all that w/o overtime. Plus getting a college degree or not puts you at the same starting point.
Maybe if they paid me a competitive salary plus a position dealing with my major, I would reconsider. I think the job for the most part isnt too bad, you get to see different things everyday, get to be outside and interacting with society, and you actually make a difference. There are many bad things too.

Oh yea, im in college for Finance & Investment, I'll be done in Aug. then MIGHT persue my MBA (yea i know NYPD could never compete salary wise.)

My career coal is to become a corporate attorney.

I KNOW im getting into SDSU, gonna get my BA in business development, and I have my heart set on Cal Western. I have a plan, all thats left is to set it in motion

I want to be a professional pilot.

I am most of the way there.

I have all of my commercial and instrument ratings, but I do not yet have enough flight time to get a job with just my commercial (required flight time varies by company and the conditions of the market, but is typically around 1500 hours).

So I am getting my Flight Instructor rating at the moment. That will allow me to get a job with at least OK pay and build time for getting a better job. Plus, it makes you a better pilot, because 1) you have to understand on a level that allows you to teach someone who has never flown before, and 2) You never know what your students are going to do to get you into trouble.

I am going to try the military one last time, and then after that my goal is to eventually work for Southwest Airlines, although I wouldn't mind American or Continental either.

The nice thing about being a professional pilot is that you only work about 1/2 the month, so that would allow me to have time for a 2nd career.

I will either start a business, or become a consultant of some kind, which I suppose is starting a business.
