Best racing game

What is everyone's favorite racing game. I've played Need for Speed Underground 2 and Carbon and those are ok but not realistic at all and they get kinda old. For more realistic games I've have Gran Turismo 3&4 for ps2 and I'm currently playing Forza on xbox (not 360). I like these the most and I love all the car choices on GT but forza has more customization options and there are some other things that I like but I can't decide which one i like more. I think right now its GT4 but I wanna play Forza 2 for xbox 360 and then decide.
What do you guys think?

GT3 and Forza
GT3 more cuz i own 2 ps2's and i'm a drift nut. and forza cuz u can do engine swaps.

i happend to like PGR3 as well but only when the buttons are set like ps2 buttons do i really own ppl at it.

I played need for speed underground 2 ALOT online before I sold my PS2 about 6 months ago. Before I quit playing it i was ranked #1 online in sprints whoo! AE86 ftw

GT3/GT4 whenever I go back to Dallas. Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 was fun too Just have a couple more people to beat but I can never get them to race. Kinda frustrating.

My brother and I have a 360 but when I went off to college it stayed with him. I'm just playing forza on my friend's xbox.
Oh yeah PGR is cool too but I haven't played it enough to be any good at it yet.

Sony is beside itself because of it's amazingly horrible Playstation 3...so pick Forza 2... cause it's going to be sick.

Racing simulator? There isn't even damage in Gran Turismo. The coolest thing about that game is the fact that it shares the name with a Maserati.

What I want is for someone to take the high points of both Forza and GT (ie. simulated damage and customization of forza & have as many cars to choose from as GT and some of its race options) and put them together for the ultimate racing simulator. Maybe we'll get lucky and Forza 2 will be like that

The Gran Turismo series easily...

For me as an engineer it's cool to see how the little suspension tweaks and everything affect the car. It's actually a pretty good tool for learning how to tune a car. If they had Forza Motorsports for PS2 I'd get that too.
