what should be my next mp3 player???

im in the market for a new mp3 player. ill be flying to europe this summer and ill need something bigger than my 512mb iriver that i have now. im looking for something with a 2gigs of memory minimum and and a color screen which is usually common with players of this size. my budget is $80-$100 but $100 is pushing it. one thing i refuse to get is any iPod. too expensive and just plain dont like them. so far im looking at a sandisk sansa 2 gig version that can be found on ebay for about 80. i also have been looking into some philips models. what else do you suggest?

also just save up abit...only thing youll get for 80-100 is a cheap one..or refurbished mp3 player..or one with minimal space...save an extra 60-100 and get a zune cheap off ebay

yea i was looking at the zune and it looks like the shit lol. it even has the ability to share music wirelessly with other! but honestly i dont really need 30gigs of storage since i know i dont listen to music enough on the go so i cant justify spending so much. i rather save that money for europe this summer. i do own a macbook pro but i cant stand the ipods. if the features were better than maybe. i had a party a while ago at my place and i couldnt even pull of songs of my roommates ipod using itunes. i had to search for a seperate app that lets you do it. they seem like more of a fashion/cool statement than a quality player and nowa days any mp3 player is referred to as ipod

For the price range the sansa is probably your best bet...I know a few people who really like them. Other than that if you can save up for something a little better it will be worth it...you get what you pay for IMO.

Ive got iPod video. GOt it for a b-day gift. Its nice IMO. The only thing I hate about it is you have to convert the video settings and blah blah blah so it will play. thats the part i hate the most other than that i have no complaints. I got the old 30gig one.
