    Bank Info

Well, now that i quit shitty assed gamestop, I now have a good assed steady job.

    so

what is a good bank that you have experience with? Im NOT using wells fargo, or Bank of America. Why? Because my parents have accounts there. and with this situation, i want to be AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE from them.

See if you can find yourself a credit union. If you need nationwide bank then Wamu is pretty much your other choice.

You 18? If not, you need a parent to have their name on the account along with yours.

Wamu isn't so bad. I only wanted it because there are lots of ATMs/branches around and free online bill pay. My old bank wanted to charge me $5/month for that. Truth be told though, I never goto into the branches; I can do everything I need to do either online or at an ATM.

Yeah, I was thinking either citibank or san diego county credit union.

and and that whole needing a parent thing

mother FUCK that. I was never told i need to be 18 to have my own checking account.

well, thats what wells fargo told me.

citizens gets my vote. once they cought someone trying to make purchases using my debit card number. they instatntly recognized the wierd transaction - it was like a limo rental or something - and issued me a new card with a new number

San Diego County Credit Union (the bank that I wanted), requires a guardian to open the account, and it would be a JOINT account. under their name

                            fucking bull shit.

I bet you did not open it by yourself. A minor cannot be the sole owner of a bank account. I am pretty sure it is because a contract with a minor holds no legal value.
