Serisouly, is it just me or our interior door handles really weak... ive had to replace the front passenger handle twice already and someone broke it again, (apparently unlocking the door is a hard concept to people) and ive replaced my driver side door handle once and its cracked again... i try to be gentle but they just keep breaking

yeah, passenger side broke on my old one and is cracking on my new one.......its always the passenger side tho, never the driver side. i think its because people suck.....they will reef on the handle but are too lazy to push the door itself, most seem to want to force the door open using the handle as some sort of fulcrum. and one of my friends will just sit there pulling on the handle as something to fidget with

I have to replace my interior passenger side door handle, so I'm going to try and find a way to fortify the thing and maybe make a DIY for it if it works well.

it always breaks at the same point which is an obvious pressure point....how about getting a replacement one and putting a piece of fibreglass patch or fibreglass reinforced bondo on the backside which is inside the door? i figure thats what i'll do when i replace mine this summer....it shouldn't take up much more space and that stuff is pretty tough to crack
