Americus GA devistated by tornado.

hey guys. sorry that i havent been on, my town was hit by an f3 tornado last thursday night. it hit right in the heart of town and destroyed many buisnesses. i worked at the hospital and it was hit the hardest. here are a FEW pics. these pics dont do justice to the total amount of damage done.

yes, it was.

all of the cars that were parked in the hosp. were totaled. rocks from the roof machine gunned them.

man, i couldn't even begin to imagine where you would begin the clean-up/rebuild process.

when something like this happens, it really puts the important things into perspective. glad you're ok. sorry to hear this has happened to you and the whole area where you live.

your right. our hospital was the most important facility that we have. we are still in the cleaning up faze now. and the accord is just fine, thank god(still needs a motor though).

At least you are ok, and there were only 2 fatalities. I guess thats the one way hurricanes are better than tornadoes... you know they are coming. Looks like some pretty nasty destruction, cant say I have seen that type of stuff from hurricanes *yet*
