if u got bills, pay them now to get them out the way
other than that, keep it, if u dont have a build or somthing lucrative goin on, why blow it(even though rims are good but i'd get motegi trak lites instead of ff7 or whatever those are)

I did gagoogity that girl. I gashmoigitied her gaflavity with my googis. And I am sorry.
$1000 eh? Got any bills? If you do, I would pay those off first, if not and you just wanna spend on your car, why not save another $1000 and buy yourself an H22? Now wouldn't that be sweet. If not I would rather have a sweet suspension setup and replace as was mentionned your ball joints, tie rods ect that would be a nice thing to do for your CB. After all the basics are done and out of the way, and you've lowered it, that's when I would start looking for rims. But I still say keep it a sleeper and save up for the H

noooo no gambling for me. i have seen first hand what gambling did to my friends. lol
i have no bills to pay. none what so ever.
and i plan on keeping the f22 and later on rebuilding it and then turbo. that is in the long run though.
right now this $1000 will be only on suspension and rims.
so what should i get.
the super cup kit (race springs and koni yellows)
the sport springs with koni yellows.
both great springs.

the question is, how low can you go? if Philly is anything like my area, you got some crappy roads with bigass potholes and dips....i just don't want to bottom out the car, EVER. The diff between the Sports and Races are only .5 inches, i'd just look at some of the Member Rides here to see how the cars look with either suspension setup and decide then whether its going to be an issue.
that is what i was thinking but everyone has a different wheel set up. either they have 17" rims with low profiles or they have 16" with bigger tires or w15" rims with even bigger tires. so that is not a big help. so thats why i did this thread so people can give their .2 cent.

i was talking about the suspension, not the shoes. the lower the suspension, the higher the odds the car will bottom out....which is a non-option for me, hence my $0.02......
if you want another $0.02 on wheels, I say go with the 16"s, cuz my buddy had 17"s and hit a nasty pothole on the freeway and bent the rim......which blows utterly.....and to me 17"s dont leave enough rubber for appearance either, doesn't look as good as 16"s IMHO. 16" Rota Slipsteams or Motegi MR7s look terrific to me
if you got any rust get that fixed. also dont get any aftermarket rims get some prelude rims or some stock 94 ex stars with some new tires and suspension neuspeed supercup kit some strutbars from ebay nothing serious and hold off the rest just incase and let it money stack up and later on save up enough and buy a h22 swap.
right now everyone is telling me to go with 16" rims, eventhough to my opinion 17" rims are the best rims for cb7. but then again i don't want to fuck up my new rims with the potholes... So i guess i will go with 16"
as for suspension i am still in between the super cup kit and the sport springs with koni yellows.
hmmmm rust is something that i really have to think about. i don't know how bad it is in my car. i am kind of waiting for the winter snow to pass, so i can take a good look how bad the rust is.
the 5th gen ex rims are my second choice. paired with the right tire that would look good on the cb7.
all of this is funny to me. i remember back in the days on the south NJ meeting talking to deev and iceplayer about all these ideas that i had in my about modding a cb7. now that i got my very own dx, i can even choose something simple like rims and suspension.
but at least i have you guys to give me some ideas.

Id slam it..but make the front lower than the rear a lil bit...and get some prelude sawblades with some new beef on em...and get some blackhoused/ yellow high beams/ amber corner one piece JDM headlights..and go to the junkyard....and get a 91 Acura Legend lip..thats me!...and you will have enough for gas and Wendys! ..and then..when you get paid again...finish off the look with some red/clear tails and mild tint!
92 LX. A6 with GUDE bullfrog Cam. M2S4 transmission..Gutted H23 intake mani. The rest you will just have to find out!
one morning i get up and my brother tells me that he needs money for school.
"noooooooooooooooooooo" well needles to say i have to give him the money because i am a good brother. since now i don't have the money i decided to go with the super cup kit. and 16" rims. oh well i can make that money again.
