$1000... need ideas on spending it

well have about $1000. and i am affraid on spending it on stupid shit. so basicly i want to put it towards my car. i didn this thread on wheels and tires and no one replyed so i brought it in here. i need fast help before spending this money on stupid shit. lol
$600 will go toward my suspension. the rest will go for my rims. help me decid what rims i should get.

ok so i plan on getting 16'" or 17" rims for my dx coupe. and i plan on lowering with neuspeed sport springs with koni yellows. or i might the the super cup kit. now as for tires i plan on runing 215/50r16 or 17.... now i am still looking at what tires to get so this s not final.
the thing that i am stuck right now is what kind of rims i should get.

so basicly i am stuck. i have read what some people have posted that say that some rims with lip tent to bent easily. i don't know how true that is but here i am asking for ur advice.
so shot away. and if you guys have any suggestion on rim size tire size or rim colour or type plz let me know. i am very open to suggestions.
i ahve been looking at the member ride for a long time and it hasn't helped a great deal.

so plz help me decide as soon as possible before i spend this stupid money on stupid shit. i figured this is going to be a good investment.

spending $1000 on your car is pretty stupid if you ask me. Dont blow your money, save it for something better then just spending it for kicks on rims. if you arent 100% sure of what you want, dont waste your money.

well i am not spending the whole $1000 on rims. lol $600 will go for my suspension then the rest will go for my rims.

Get the dp6 in graphite, like the picture. 16" would probably be good (17" is a pain... 16" allows you to drive a bit more naturally) That polished lip with the graphite spokes would look great against the colors of the DX.

As for suspension, I'm on Koni Yellows and H&R Race now, and it's absolutely amazing. The ride is just as good, if not better, than when I was on KYB AGX and H&R Sport, and the handling is significantly better. If you're going to spend the money for suspension, get Koni Yellows... Tein stuff is good too, but I don't have any experience with them. Konis I can vouch for!

yeah i plan on buying suspesion parts only once thats why i am ready to pay that much money. right now i am split minded about a few things. rims and which springs i should buy. as for shocks i will defenitly be koni yellows.

OR, tune your entire engine up. Gaskets, pumps, belts, ignition....basic maintenance.

Then, replace all bushings/balljoints and drop your car.
