Yeah, these old ones will last forever if you keep them maintained. hehehe....you guys have no idea how shitty these new Honda trannies are. '00+ Accords are lucky to make it to 30K. I replace AT LEAST one or two '00+ Accord and Odyssey trannies a week! Some of them are on their 2nd or 3rd before they even get close to 100K.

The prelude SS tranny is probably the worst honda tranny they made. I'm on tranny number 3..and its slipping like a bitch..and im only at 55k miles!

164k on original tranny and still shifts smooth as glass. A little maintenance goes a long way.

140k ... at least i think its the original not sure if its been replaced.

What maintence is there to a tranny? Changing the fluid or is there other shit i should be doing?

My friends brother used to have a 95 lx coupe and his tranny went out at 280k miles! Motor was still fine ... he ended up having to give the title to the shop cause the tranny cost more to replace than he thought and he didnt have any money.

i have changed out guage clusters a couple times so the mileage is off a lot... it says 130,00 but it has to be about 160,000

might i ad that hondas are bullet proof
