Ah yes, the Tweels. Hate the name, hate the look. But I think they'll have there uses. I think the main advantage is no air. No air to leak, no puncture hazzard, no fluctuation in PSI, one less thing for the masses to check, cause most of them don't anyways. I know lots of landscapers that would love these.

Honestly I dont think they would produce those...They prob do it like that to test a tire to see its flexinb properties and what it would do under conditions.

they'll probably use the technology but make them look like regular tires

looks ugly in motion (like bicycle tires) looks ugly standing still (the audi pic is gross, although hes in motion you get the idea) and looks ugly in design. not to mention youd have to rock a very small wheel. the idea is cool, implementation is poor imo.

                        x2 on the re-re-re-re post,
about the thchnology, thats true since these are only a prototype they would more then likely put some kind of sidewall on there to keep people from trying to sabatoge another persons tires I would think and so they look more normal. Later

Although totally bizarre, I think the concept is pretty neat. Depending on how durable they are, and if they use a sidewall, they would be pretty good for dirt/rally. Or not. I would try them to say the least.
