    Gained garage; lost my view

moving sucks it is such a pain in the ass and i will have to do it again this spring when i get my new house. i just moved form my downtown loft into a rental house my friend owns. it is a downgrade from the loft but i gained a better garage to work in, however i sure miss a balcony view and living downtown.

living downtown was a blast for over 2 years but i was ready to move into a house. i actually most miss having 2 full bathroooms. sharing a a bathroom again with my wife sucks.

while i was living downtown i wrenched on my rides at work or friends and family houses or just outside. i also had an underground parking space i rented but you could only do so much. if feels so good to have my own garage, i spend more time in there then any other place in the house.

the garage is just a single car garage attached to the basement. the cool thing is that its soo long that i can fit my ek and my accord in with room to spare. then in back of the garage is a room where i put all stuff.

as for pics my computer is messed up and i cant upload any new pics or edit them either. its time to upgrade my computer because i am ready to kill it for good.

we've got a double car garage here at the house so... i have to park my truck outside in the cold and my other baby in the garage so i have somewhere clean and dry to work on her.

i've been yearning to move outta here but funds are limited.

Lucky you, having a garage. I just do all my work in my driveway. And when weather doesn't permit working on my car, I just don't get to work on my car. I miss our garage. We used to have a single car garage but we extended our house into the garage for more space.

^^^ why did you let that happen?

btw I also do my work in a drive way. & rain or shine I still work on my car. just last month I changed my EM2's rear motor mount in the pouring rain. in the end I was completely soaked.

& Ive changed my old CBs radiator in a thunder storm.

you just got to learn to get used to it & adapt

                        I wish I had a deep-ass garage like that.

$1000 a month? for a loft in Des Moine?

Last time I heard property value in Des Moine was in trouble.....

that must've been the biggest damn loft in Iowa.

if your rent in this city and want somthing nice to even decent you have you pay. i am 28 and have been renting since ive been 17. renting made sense since i moved so much but now i am ready to buy .
                            .
the main reason i ditched the loft because they raised my rent and parking to the point where it was stupid to live there any longer. it was 1200sqft and was voted nicest place to live in des moines for what ever thats worth. if this loft was in another city it would be even more $. it should of been named where the hottest bitches live in iowa...no joke!
