    PSP problems

    Okay I need some info from you expert psp owners out there I need to know if your goot at downloading movies . Today i went out and brought a cd to intergrate some of my dvd movies into the psp for shits and giggles while im at work. Now I need to know why isnt my psp communicating with my computer I have the port plugged in perfectly. And it still wont recognise it. It jsut says no psp detected please plug psp up to computer with usb cable. And it is plugged in not only that its in usb mode. What gives? The program that i have i brougth at bestbuy its called max media manager pro

    i got that max media shit too but i dont use that for videos.
    I use PSP video 9 which is kinda the same thing as videora for ipod

      not to be stupid or anything but you made sure that you hit connect via usb on the psp prior to plugging it to the computer?

        listen dude. Im at school right now, so i cant give you the link im talking about, but I found this website with STEP BY STEP instructions, and a free program to transfer videos... I use it to put.... 'other videos' on my psp... works perfectly, and its free....

        Ill be sure to hit you up with a link when i get home. Those media managers are a waste of money.

          i may go and return my manager.and yes i did hit the usb button to connect to the usb. i found the problem it was about the memory card i gave one for my friend. But i have a 4gig on the way

                Oh, well the thing about Dells are that they suck at recognizing PSPs, my old Dell stop recognizing it completely now. Don't know if that could be the case with gateways too.

                  same thing happened to me when i got my psp. try other usb ports and u will be fine. anyway....dont downgrade, i bricked 2 psp's already.
