    global warming is more "arctic" warming. noone really cares if it gets hotter in the tropics, a few degrees wont kill them. however, a few degrees in the arctic stands to melt the ice caps and flood the coastlines all over the world.

    I beleive its a farce. the antarctic has actually gotten colder in recent years.

      it has a lot more to do than just melting ice caps and flooding coastlines........... take a geology class.

          lol this is a natural thing guys. this is also affecting all this crazy weather. my astronomy teacher was talking to us about this. and Yes its true!!!

                        global warming.. real or not? i have an idea, however, as i don't have all the facts, nor am i a climatologist perhaps i should refrain from imposing my opinions on others.

                        another interesting new article though - oil companies are for some odd reason, trying to buy scientists to disupte the IPCC's claims on man-made climate change. i wonder if these scientists are related to the "smoking isn't bad for you" scientists?
