no avatars?
i see on other boards you have the option to have an avatar under your name. why has this feature been disabled on here?

i've disabled avatars due to the fact that the site looks cleaner without them. the avatar sort of serves the same purpose as a sig, its just sort of like your trademark... what people identify you with. also sometimes avatars tend to slow the site down for dial-up users (especially the gifs).
the user title changes from Noobie to CB7Tuner Member at 100 posts, and you can only customize your user title after you've reached 1500 posts (with a couple more changing titles in between 100 and 1500).
