a while back, I told the Admin about a FREE server that had everything offered here. Unlimited bandwith (from what I understand and see on the boards)

The only difference in the free version and th epay version is the small google ads and image storage.

I was told that thre was WAY too much info and too many members HERE to move to board to another server.

I feel that the TRUE active members wouldn't mind changing the link in their bookmarks.

right. Actually, Faster Fox wouldnt create multiple MySQL connections (the people who sit and refresh the site every 3 seconds do). and since our errors are MySQL related, there is really no corrolation.

nope, it went from happening nearly every day to never....wondered if anybody else noticed.

i only got that error a handfull of times....havent seen it lately...

never heard of fasterfox and dont care cuz my firefox works fine...

i think everyone should just donate 10bucks so deev can take a break from out of pocket expenses and enjoy the reliablity and value of this site since it works fine 95% of the time!

You guys can thank Phempa for telling me about the optimization... I haven't had an issue since I did that!

Eventually I'll have to have Eric update the SQL and PHP (sorry Eric, but you KNOW I can't do it! )


Next time someone experiences that white error screen, shoot me an email or IM. I'm usually on the site, so I should be aware if I'm around... but just in case, let me know! I'll do the optimization again, and hopefully it'll continue to work.

Hmm...I've never had a problem with this site.

I do use FasterFox, but its set to Optimized, and no prefetching.
I also use NoScript, but I allow Clicksor.com for the ads.
