Well, an AP by itself already makes for a nice upgrade.

One of my brothers had an 03 stage 4 wrx and it was pretty crazy, he sold it for a TL tho. My other brother has an 04 STi which is nuts. I've been in the snow/mud/sand with both of them and it just makes you shit your pants.

Be careful with turboback exhaust on the 2.5...I've been reading a lot about people getting boost spikes with the AP and turboback.

The SPT intake is pretty sweet. It's a nice way to hear the BPV without worry about the problems of a BOV on a maf based system. Plus it's fully warranteed..

I don't trust SPT intakes. I don't know about the WRX one specifically, but one for the Legacy looses power on more than one dyno, all else equal. You don't really need an intake anyway; the stock one is surprisingly good.

I already removed the snorkel at around 400 miles, you can hear the BPV at low RPM shifts. And as for the exhaust, I'm already tired of driving a quiet car, I need to hear that the car is running. Coming from always have an Accord with exhaust, I need something.

The SPT intake for the legacy is not good, but the WRX one is. Cobb tested both, and on a stage 2 STi the intake did make a difference, the legacy did result in loss of power. people complain about heatsoak, but it is not significantly greater than stock anyway. the main reason i got it was for the sound, but it does boost a little more smoothly. the stock is good to around 350hp i believe.

the best thing about the 06wrx is the 2.5L. while subaru claims 230hp, everyone who dynos a stock one gets about 200whp, the old wrx getting around 180 whp. that's why i didn't notice a huge difference between my wrx and an older sti in terms of acceleration. i also found shifting that quickly annoying, i like the 5spd better.
