Sony can suck my @$$ on purpose... gamers read

well, I work at Gamestop, and since we've gotten the PS3 Kiosk I've been itching to play it. We got it in the first day, and of course, our manager got first crack at it. then, it locks up. Another gamer associate tried on his break. Locked up on him too. I thought it was funny as hell, 1) because i can not stand sony for producing shitty products, 2) we just shut the kiosk down and pissed off every one who wanted to play it.

well, i decided to research and see if this is a small problem(hey, our gamestop could have gotten a bugged system, nothings perfect), or can i really laugh at sony if this were a mass problem (like the PS2 and they're laser.)

well, like they usually say with new electronics, dont get the first batch.. Unless it's a Wii, get those as soon as possible

I've had mine for a week now, still no problems for me. But I've seen numerous times where it freezes up on motorstorm.

purchasing the first generation of a new system is never a good thing, i mean the xbox 360's had there fair share of dillemmas when first coming out, and even the wii had that problem with their controls (haha, flying off peoples hands). As for the ps3, it looks pretty sick, and im waiting to get one of the next generations to ensure all the quirks are worked out

Well, I've kinda developed a thing for Sony's service after my experience with the PSP. I got my PSP two week after it came out, so it was still off of the first shipments. About ten months later, it broke and I sent it in to Sony and they sent me a brand new one.

i wont be buying a ps3 until

- ps3's drop in price
- hd lcd's/plasmas become cheaper
- ps3 has some games i want to play (devil may cry 4, armored core)
- firmware upgrades

im quite happy with my outdated ps2 on my outdated tv for the time bring.
