Over the last three years of driving and fixing the car, it has not given me any major problems. The reason why the engine was changed was because I got the engine at a very good price from the local high school shop. It was getting an average of 28-30mpg when the old engine was taken out. This engine still needs to be broken in some more and has never been raced or highly abused. Engine oil changed religiously. The car drives absolutely mint and definitely should last for another 20 years with the regular maintenance intervals. The 5 speed manual transmission fits the car well with enough low-end and decent highway power.
The only cons about the car is that the RR window motor went out, replaced with another but the window goes up and down really slow still. The paint job isnt high quality and is flaking in some areas. It is a clean title but has been in a minor accident, the passenger corner was pushed in a bit. I did my best to re-align it and replaced the fender, headlight and bumper supports. It does not affect the driving or alignment whatsoever.
The car is very well-built however I am turning to something a bit more luxurious and power. The price is set on firm but money does talk.
Asking 2200 USD, I highly advise coming for a test drive prior to purchase (need drivers license and identification for test drive)
Thank you.
