mid may would be best for me. one of the reasons I decided to not attent last years meet was because I was busy with school, and just couldnt afford to not be there that weekend. I get out May 10th, which is late for most schools, so . . . I think that the middle of may is a grand idea.

if its iun va beach we dont have nuttin to sorry bout. if it rains then we can go to lynnhaven mall there is a parking garage bam no rain to worry bout. well it will be alot of fun. i just hope i have my license so i can drive also. but if i dont my boy will drive so im good

Yeah, we should get the date out of the way first.
I've researched the weather around Virginia Beach. Avg. high in April is 68 with 2.8 in. of rain. In May it's 75 but with just about 4 in. of rain.

Easter is April 8 next year. Early isn't that?
End of May might be better for some since most colleges are out.

I'll show up whatever date we decide on. But I vote for mid May.

I like may, because I have 2 big carshows in april, one early april(the 7th) and the other is the last weekend 20th-22(***April 20-21-22--13th Annual Slamsession Supershow--held by NC's Oldest Car & Truck Club, Animated Attractions--THE largest club run show on the entire East Coast--The show that put nighttime stage events on the map and made them what they are today--Over 150 classes--Burnout Contest--Hydro/Air Contest--Stereo Contest--Hangover Club Games on Sunday--Camping available outside the show gates (sorry, no showers)--Come experience what has been for years NC's #1 Car & Truck Show--for more info contact Chris @ 252-885-6188 or Heidi @ 252-378-5456 or go to www.AnimatedAttractionscc.com ), I will be putting car back in shop for minor fixes for this one. I like May as well, Cisco and I should have our cars done by then, and later in the year works best for those in school. Seems like a win win situation for alot of people.

If that doesn't work, I'm going to be there anyway, even if I stuff an f22 in my car, or just drive my truck, I'm gonna go.

Sounds awesome, take the initiative and talk to this guy, settle a good date and report back some info. Talk is nothing, someone has to make it happen, I've been involved with organizing in the last 2 meets (Tennesse and North Carolina) and someone just has to take a good idea and run with it.

Once you get closer to settling things, I'll keep the Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana area informed (aka Midwest Car Club). I'll do my best to get the most guys down there, maybe we can meet up with some of the people from the Kansas, Missouri area to come with us too. I might be able to get a Canadian with us too .

Thats not a problem, I've been organizing meets, cruizes and carshows for the last 12 years, being the prez of a club all that time and a member of the HAMPTON ROADS CAR CLUB COUNCIL, like I said all I need is a definite date and its good as done. I satup the dropjaw cruize in there and now setting up a cashow at the local track(dragstrip), which will have racing,dragging contest, hydro contest,stereo, and of course BIKINI. So with some additional help down here it will get done.

Mid may is kinda hectic with me. At least until after the 18th. What about memorial day weekend?

Usually gas prices go up around memorial day, also more cops out on the freeways to hand out tickets. Hotel rooms are sometimes more expensive as well.

Alot of people have other family/friends related plans for that weekend as well.

I'm still up for whatever, just putting out my thoughts. L8r
