No doubt, checkout dropjawmag.com and look under HAMPTON cruize in, we chilled at the track after the earlier carshow from around 8pm until 1am because its his property no police came in or anything.He even gave a special discount to all of us who told them we were with the cruize in for ride/races. My goal is to have my new motor up and running by this meet, so lets decide where, and after that when.

I missed most of last years meet due to unexpected problems, and trying to have a large group all drive together, sometimes, it's just best to have a meeting point, get there and hang out, and decide from there.

Like others have said, lets just keep it simple.

Looking forward to hopefully a great meet.

Same here, I'm trying to get my engine done by this meet as well, depending on the date. But my original plans were to have it done/dyno tuned by end of spring 2007, so if the meet date is close to that, I'll try my best. Man would that be sweet if we can both make it, don't half-a$$ shit though man...I'm not.

Va sounds good, but Va Beach, no way, 1st, its a police state, you cant do anything here,cruise or anything. Now if you want a place to have a monster MEET, I have the perfect spot, Its about 10-20 miles west of the Beach, in PORTSMOUTH. This spot has carshows and different MEETS and cruiz-ins there all summer. Theowner is a carnut, and loves for his spot to be used for just this type of event. I helped with a carshow therethis past summer that had 200 vehicles and plentyof room to spare, checkout their page and someone pm me if interested, I can give you the owners name and #.

Sounds awesome, take the initiative and talk to this guy, settle a good date and report back some info. Talk is nothing, someone has to make it happen, I've been involved with organizing in the last 2 meets (Tennesse and North Carolina) and someone just has to take a good idea and run with it.

Once you get closer to settling things, I'll keep the Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana area informed (aka Midwest Car Club). I'll do my best to get the most guys down there, maybe we can meet up with some of the people from the Kansas, Missouri area to come with us too. I might be able to get a Canadian with us too .

Yeah, we should get the date out of the way first.
I've researched the weather around Virginia Beach. Avg. high in April is 68 with 2.8 in. of rain. In May it's 75 but with just about 4 in. of rain.

Easter is April 8 next year. Early isn't that?
End of May might be better for some since most colleges are out.

I'll show up whatever date we decide on. But I vote for mid May.
