I don't really favor the idea of a "cruise." I'd rather have a meet like our April '06 meet where we try to stay in one place and see other people's cars and meet new CB7Tuners. I don't want to end up driving all over the place, getting lost, and getting speeding tickets 'cause you know everybody's gonna be flyin' down the road at like 25 OVER the speed limit, and that's not what I call a "cruise" anyway. Just my $0.02.

      I agree 100%.

And I say a place near 95 would be the best.

I like experiencing new locations, so I chose Virginia instead of North Carolina because I made it there to the last meet. Anyhow, the Williamsburg to VA Beach sounds nice and like a nice place to end the cruise at and perhaps hang out some.

Anyhow, keep us posted on when a date comes about for this meet. I'll try and have my white Accord project done by then, but the plans for that is end of spring 2007, so we'll just have to see about this date.

alright, here is some input from my standpoint:

pick a place and settle. ideal if it is someones hometown or atleast knows the area like the back of their hand.

keeping the plans simple is what i believe in.

its most likely not going to be held in atlanta at this point so im looking foreward to the drive and only the drive.

yall keep on deciding if we want to cruise or not.

If we cruise, it should be that...a CRUISE. No stupid everybody fan-out and take up the whole highway changing lanes fittin to get into accidents and getting off exits at the last minute, that's just plain dumb with so many people and that's coming from me (one that likes to cruise on the highway, when I'm by myself) In groups, speeding is just not safe and attracts too much attention. The North Carolina meet, it was nice CRUISIN to Zipcreature's (Daniel) house in the country woods with windy roads, it was like something in a magazine plain awesome! I also feel a cruise should not be in the city/downtown of any place for obvious reasons, easy for people to get lost and more prone to accidents with such a large group, people passing red lights to keep up with the group, etc.

So ideally, country road type cruise just for that, a cruise and maybe have it be a photo opportunity or for video cameras, that kind of thing.

My goal is to have my new motor up and running by this meet, so lets decide where, and after that when.

I missed most of last years meet due to unexpected problems, and trying to have a large group all drive together, sometimes, it's just best to have a meeting point, get there and hang out, and decide from there.

Like others have said, lets just keep it simple.

Looking forward to hopefully a great meet.

Va sounds good, but Va Beach, no way, 1st, its a police state, you cant do anything here, cruise or anything. Now if you want a place to have a monster MEET, I have the perfect spot, Its about 10-20 miles west of the Beach, in PORTSMOUTH. This spot has carshows and different MEETS and cruiz-ins there all summer. Its AMERICAN INDOOR KARTING http://ports.americanindoorkarting.c...l?pg=ContactUs Dropjawmag .com just had there winter cruize there. Theowner is a carnut, and loves for his spot to be used for just this type of event. I helped with a carshow therethis past summer that had 200 vehicles and plentyof room to spare, checkout their page and someone pm me if interested, I can give you the owners name and #.

honestly i don't know what to say i have no clue where these places are and i missed last meet. Me personally i would prefer not to cruise to far because i plan on going this meet and i will have to drive a good couple of hours to get there and im pretty sure i will be all driven out by the time i get there. That go-kart idea sounds cool but i am not going to vote until more info is provided.
