Our teachers tried doing that but I never used a cover and when they tried to take away points I went to the super and said Llook I am doing my class work, passing my test and making good grades. I think lowering my grades over a stupid book cover is not right." He told the teachers that they were not allowed to do that anymore.

Fight the system man. Don't let them use their "power" to push you around.

I had a little more free time so I decided to revisit this thing.

I used a JDM newspaper this time too.

        Thanks for looking.

i used to do that back in grade 10-12, not with the honda logos or anything, every book i had said AETOS on it, instead of spray paint, id use regular paint, and stick the brissles of a toothbrush in the paint, the use my thumb the flick the brissles. would leave a crazy looking splatter effect, use several colours and its pimp!

This is hilarious. I'm in high school and glad I don't have damn book covers. Middle school... hahah. My friends would expect something like this out of me though...

              Nice work.

OK so another school DIY, unlike the first one though. This is an obvious rip from TypeG's plastic polishing (found here). So props to him for the idea.

I got my TI-86 back in 2001 and since then, its taken quite a beating. The cover's been dented and scratched and just looks bad. But after realizing that its hard plastic, I decided I might as well try polishing it.

SO, stock and new, the cover looks something like:

I, however, had many deep scratches on it, some of which ran the entire length of the cover. So, after busting out the 320 grit sandpaper for about 15 minutes, I had the deep scratches out. I then went with 600, 800, 1000, and 2000 grit sandpaper before finishing it off with Meguiars PlastX plastic polisher. All in all, it took about 2 and a half hours.

                  And the finished product:

                  Flash that bling, yo.

haha, yeah. I had to break it up over a couple days 'cause of freaking homework. Oh well, one more week and high school will be over. College is almost here, and damn I'm feeling aged.

I want to make a stencil out of an outline of an accord I saw here a while ago. I think it was in someone's signature... Acclude92? 92Acclude? Anyway I have it saved to my computer somewhere, I'll post it up if I get any progress.
hey bro I made a t-shirt with that accord outline/logo on it.
