    I just need to do a lil bitching! The problem i have with the tuner industry is JDM. dont get me wrong i like the JDM style BUT just because you bought something on EBAy that said JDM doesnt mean its reall JDM! Ive have seen tons of parts on cars, in this forum and another, that everyone claims that the things on their cars is JDM. When they are clearly just aftermarket. I guess people just like to go with a trend and they dont care how stupid the end up looking by saying that their parts are JDM when any half-retarded dip shit could tell them it aint!

    Im not saying that all people are full of shit when it comes to having JDM stuff on their cars, ive seen plenty of people on this thread with authentic JDM parts. And i like the look.

    IF YOU BOUGHT IT AND YOU KNOW ITS NOT JDM DONT CLAIM IT TO BE!!!!!!



    Ok im done ranting and raving. i just thought it was about time someone stated the obvious.

    On that note, a JDM sun visor is ***. Where can I get some JDM seat belts? Cuz you know, theyre safer in a collision. Sorta like JDM bumper supports.

          you're in seattle? you should check out the NW forum, we have meets constantly. also, we have some REAL jdm enthusiasts. kind of obssesive if you ask me, lol.

            im not saying that JDM is better than ricers, im a firm beleiver in "do what you think looks good and fuck what anyone says about your car". I mean everyone builds their own cars to what they like not what everyone else likes. Im just saying that if it aint real dont fake the funk!!!!

              I was going to come to a couple meets but my car was in the paint shop for two months then two weeks after i got it back the f22 blew up. Now its in the garage just about completed the H22 swap.

              My car is by NO-MEANS JDM. i just can stand people kidding themselves.

                i got a comment on car domain about how my car was looking nice and jdm.
                heres the thing.
                i have nothing jdm on my car, i prefer a more modified but not overdone appearance, moem(modified oem?)
                but fuck it, jdm will go out in the next few years, and maybe body kits will make a comeback. all i know is that trends die and new ones resurface in their place every few years.

                  haha, the only thing my car has thats jdm is the engine and the shift boot.

                  I like jdm cuz it looks nice, but its too fucking expensive and unless i can get it for way cheap, theres no fucking way im buying, period.

                  but some of our NW members are TRUE JDM, and have a shitload of OEM jdm parts. just most of them never get around to installing them they like to keep it in their trunks or in their rooms, lol!!! hahaha

                    ^^^ yeah my storage unit looks like a car shop at this point too. the only part on my car that is or will be JDM(at the moment) is the motor. If anything my car would be considered a "ricer" cuz of the body kit. Oh well.

                        I looked on japanpartner.com for some cool cars... and I found a Mustang. I wanted to import it so I can have the only JDM Mustang in the US! It was even LHD!!! That's rare in Japan, you know. (true story... aside from me wanting it).

                        I don't get the JDM conversion stuff. Having some useful or different JDM parts is pretty cool... but going for the stuff that has almost NO difference in form or function doesn't make sense to me. Unless you convert your steering wheel to RHD, you don't have a JDM car... you have a USDM car with JDM stuff stuck to it. Unless you import a full JDM car, you don't have a JDM car. Simple as that.
