Any one see this movie? It is amazing IMO. Kinda long...but I was into it the whole time. Although I wish the ending went a little different but was still a really good movie.
The ending sure was fucked the hell up. Its a long movie but you won't be disappointed. Good performances all around. Jack Nickelson is still a bad mother fucker.

I thouroughly enjoyed The Departed. I'm a big fan of Scorsese.. I loved Goodfellas and Casino. Granted I felt that The Departed wasnt as good as those two masterpieces.. but with all the crap thats out now a days it was certainly a great film!

Its an excellent movie after i saw it i was like damn even though it was a bootleg it was excellent the plot was better than most the movies ive seen to date. I plan to see either that again in the theature with my ex or the grudge 2 we have to catch up on times.
I think me and my girlfriend are going to see it tonight. Doesn't it have to do with Boston or something?
Yes, Boston is the setting. They filmed a lot of the movie there, and my friend mikey is an Extra. he can be seen listening to his Ipod in the train scene
it was a fantastic movie. i would have liked to see it end a little differently, but the end definitly had that "wow" factor.
and just for the people who dont live in or around the Boston area, most of our accents are not THAT bad. they really exaggerate it for the most part. However, i do know SOME people who are that bad.

hah I was almost going to make a thread about that after I saw the movie. I've been to Boston maybe 5 or 6 times and I was like wtf I don't remember anyone with that heavy of an accent.
I think I am in the movie as an extra. They filmed it while I was having dinner with my friends at chinatown and we just happened to be passing by. I haven't seen the movie to see if I am in the movie or not.
For some reason there have been a recent boom in famous people in Boston (Harrison Ford who I met, Bill Clinton who I didn't see but saw his crowd of security, Matt Damon for the filming in Boston and some others who I forgot)
