So I finally ran across a program that allows you to change the theme for Windows XP. It's called Style XP, and I am enjoying it right now! I've changed my theme to sorta resemble a Mac.

I'll have to check both of those out, thanks guys. I just got Style XP because one of my friend's has it, and it's not too bad. If those two programs are that much better, I'll definitely have to go for it!Always remember that only you can make your dreams a reality.
Never forget that your style is all that matters when it comes to your ride, but be respectful to others who don't share your vision.

I'm trying out Flyakite OSX right now, as ACC0RD22 suggested.
I't not bad, if you want your PC to look and act as close as possible to a mac... but it is a bit resource intensive.
I'll probably just go back to Windowblinds soon as it was basically all i needed.
Heres a link to a Windowblinds 5 torrent:

To get the dashboard I was using Yahoo Widget Engine. Most of Apples widgets get ported there, and theres a fairly large selection to choose from. I highly recommend it, even if your not looking to make your computer look like a mac.
anyways, this is what my computer looked like before I decided to just go all out and install OS X natively.
Flyakite + Windowblinds
True OS X screen, just for reference.

So you've got OSX running on a x86 machine?
How's that working out for you?
I installed a version of Tiger x86 almost a year ago, and it ran horribly!
There was no hardware support, so no internet... it took FOREVER to load.
My machine isn't that old:
Athlon 64 2800+
1gb DDR400
128mb DDR AGP video card
Is there a release that runs alot better than what I was using?

yeah, Im using a port of 10.4.7 right now, its running really well. the only thing that didnt work out of the box was the sound, and all I had to do to fix that was to add my sound card to the list of accepted cards. iTunes doesnt work on SSE2 machines though, so you have to run a PPC version instead.
I got all my info from www.insanelymac.com
really awesome forum, just search through Demonoid for a version of OS X. usually theyre modded by JaS or myk.

oh god, ummm, I honestly couldnt even replicate it, I tried on my desktop, but it doesnt look nearly as good.
I used objectBar for the top bar, Object dock for the bottom dock, and windowblinds for the left oriented close/max/min buttons. these are all part of object desktop, or free trial downloads (that dont expire, they just lack some features the full version has, I dealt with the trials.)
In flyakite, I really didnt do anything but install it and disable RK Launcher, and Search Spy ( in ever really figured out how to use it, and now that i have OS X I dont use Spotlight either.
