I, personally, would like to know the details behind all this. Is the snake forum the only new thing? Do posts there count for us members? What new changes have been made and how will they affect us? I read somewhere about how some posts wont count in places they used to count

I like the fact that finally the n00bs cant raise their post count by posting their pics in the Beginner Apperance and help others raise their post counts by just saying "nice car." So many people took advantage of that. I dont know about the snake forum... Something different for sure. Cant hurt! Later

Shouldnt there have been a sticky in the Beginner app to say, "Hey No Posting Your Rides!" ? So n00bs cant post rides til they get to 30 posts? Now theyll be whoring up the n00b threads trying to get that 30 then when they do, theyll be so used to whoring the n00b forums that theyll whore up the member forums. oy..i dunno. I was a n00b once myself and i got flamed, so i guess its just part of the process.

I like what boxden does...www.boxden.com...they have rep points and stuff, like if you post good information or help some one out, you give them rep. I dunno, I guess its just a status thing. But it's easy to see who's the most helpful and most popular.

Dude, you've racked up 779 posts already...and you joined in April of this year, lol! I don't think post number matters because you can have 20394234389 posts and not know more than a person with, say, 150 posts. I post a lot in the off topic section, but I don't really care that it doesn't add to my post count. I still have a lot to learn about my car, so I'll stick to reading until I can really help someone, like I'm sure you do Green.

well, sometimes i do feel like a whore cuz yeah, ive been here 6mo and have more posts than ppl who've been here longer. It just depends on the person, i guess. some ppl are on here everyday and post everyday, others only frequent the site, and theres so many variables, that yeah, posts shouldnt matter. I dont think they should do away with it but instead find a differet way to let other members know "hey this guy knows something" or just some way to certify you as a reputible person.

post count means nothing. I have 5k+ posts on a local music forum, none of them like me more for it. Granted, most of them are my friends, or at least acquaintences, but I still get shit for some stuff.

i think thats pointless as well...you either take someones advice or you dont...its up to you who makes more sense and if you doubt someones knowledge, then do your own research and figure out things on your own
