you locked the car while car is running and engine is overheating,what do you do?

well, this just happened to me an hour ago, my dumb self turned on the ingition because I was leaking coolant and I wanted to see where it was coming from. so I locked the car without me reallizing it, after 15 minutes of idling I found the trouble spot and I decided to shut the car off but the door was LOCKED! I'm such a f*ckin idiot. and so I used a wire hanger but wouldnt work, after 20 min. of that I noticed the temp was close to the red zone. I started to panic because I wouldnt want to blow my H22. so I grabed a electric fan and placed it infront of the radiator to help cool it but I checked the temp and it was at red and car was smokin like a steamed RICE. and so I was getting ready to brake the quarter panel window and I decided to pull the door handle on the rear passenger door,WHAT DO YOU KNOW! shit was open.lol the leason of this story when somethings wrong always try the ovious first!

Only in canada, How do you lock the driver side door if it has the safety anti lock thing on it where you need to lift the handle in order to close it? And you were looking for a coolant leak with out the hood opened? Wf??!?!?

I cant lock my car from the inside totally. the drivers side door doesnt lock if its open. I HAVE to do it from the outside, which means I have my keys at all times. sucks for you?

funny shit actually... not because u had to deal with it but because i saw a guy do the same ting in front of a building today lol i had my camera ready fro when he tried to break the quarter glass lol... and i dont know why people go to break the quarter glass first its the hardest to break and prolly the hardest to replace... i mean true enough u can tape it up but do u really wanna drive around like that anyway

Coulda pulled the fuel line lol but I dont think you want fuel flying into a hot engine lol and shit spraying haha. But now you learn to leave your window open lol I always do whenever Im working on any car.

yes Bruthas, the hood was wide open. I tried chocking and stalling it by putting my hands on the intake tube but dang that shit has mad suction.

I was just asking, because all you'd need to do is pull the plug wires..... Did I see someone say "fuel line?" Me thinks this is NOT a good idea. lol
