If you want xp, buy an upgrade version of xp from a retail store.
If you DL it you will run into the genuine advantage thing, and that cannot be defeated that I know of.
Expect to spend about $100-$150
If you can, buy a copy from ebay, but be careful. The serial number may already be registered and you might get screwed over.
on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

If you get the actual hard copy of the key MS will give you a new key, your allowed to transfer a key once (meaning once you sell/trade/exc to someone you cant do that key again)Hi, I'm Shippo and I have a problem. I keep buying CB7's.

I prefer alot of free stuff on open source software myself but honestly my windows installs have near zero problems, it is all in how you care for the computer.Hi, I'm Shippo and I have a problem. I keep buying CB7's.

when people think linux, they automatically think command prompt, shitty GUI, and you have to be a rocket scientest to figure it out.
that was in the 80s. things have changed tremendously. you can do ANYTHING in linux that you can do in windows these days, and a whole lot more. Did i mention all the software is free?

Ubuntu, being not the best *nix build, is a simple crossover for Windows users.
I used Breezy Badger and Hoary Hedgehog for quite some time, and thought I'd never go back to Windows..... but some hardware devices and necessary programs require me to
I'll be building a cheap machine sometime soon for a nice nix box, and will probably go right back to Ubuntu.

I recently put Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper) on my laptop just for the hell of it (i use Suse on my desktop), and to my surprise EVERYTHING worked out of the box. grpahics card, touchpad, wireless, you name it. I used to consider ubuntu kind of a "pussy linux", but i have been converted.
and the ubuntu support forums are the best iv seen. better than any other distros support, hell, its probably the BEST support forum on the net, for anythingLast edited by Accord R33; 09-29-2006, 12:02 AM.
