so i was warmin up the car this morning at 6:30, gonna drive on to school. start defrosting my windows and roll down the driver's side to wipe the rear view mirror.

i use my hand but little did i know i havent washed the camry in half a year so the back of my hand turned black. i grab some paper towels to wipe off my hand and proceed to wipe down the side mirror and next thing i know this hispanic lady is walking in the middle of the street with a black garbage bag. it seems as if she is picking up the recycling before our recycling trucks get to them!

never seen this b4 on my street, and this is with 800k plus housing.
im not sure if it will cause problems, im okay with it at school when people grab bottles out of garbages but out of people's own recycle bins?

That's really common. My old neighborhood used to be a pretty affluent area, and there were always vans that came down the street that would do that (as well as take anything that was being thrown away that wasn't completely busted).

rich people throw away stuff that seems to be in really good condition to poor people. if youre throwing it away anyways, why should it matter?

This is so embarrasing but my dad use to do that...

He didn't go through people's bins but he would go through the trash at work or what ever and grab bottles and cans all the time.

I can't complain though its given me a good life lol

as for going through bins I have a guy that comes by every week and does it. And i live in a neighborhood probably as nice as yours

look man, for most of us that shit is just the norm to see.... for a poor few, it's the way of life.... now if she doesn't look like a druggy then don't give her any shit....

i got to know this one lady from my last neighborHOOD in Pomona, CA. (i live in some subarbs in texas now ) she was real cool... her and her young daughter would pass by every wednesday (night before trash day) looking for cans and what not... and since me and the neighboors always chilled in the front just pounding, every week we had a bunch of cans just laying around... after awhile, i took it upon myself to crush 'em and bag 'em for her.... she was thankful everytime.... made me feel good....

but yeah, if anything help her out.. that's if she doesn't look like a druggy!
