I still haven't seen it... I did a backup though, so if we lose anything, it won't be much.

Updating the board without a definite reason won't be a good thing... it'll take a lot to get things back to normal. I'd rather not have to deal with whatever bugs might arise because of an upgrade.

Every time something odd happens, we get the same responses... "the ads are doing it!" or "the board needs to be upgraded!".

Honestly, the ads are more likely the cause than the old software. The software is solid, and I don't imagine a hacker would really care to attack us... there's nothing to damage here. The ads use javascript, so some asshat may have submitted a banner or something that had a secret... either way, it's not harmful... yet.

Those ads will probably go soon anway. They aren't paying anything worth a damn ($12 a month is worthless...) so I'd rather find something else.
