New Cell Phone... AGAIN!!! last one, i swear...

ok. well about a month ago, i got a deal on a samsung t809. someone i know went to tmo after i got it cause they wanted one, but were then discontinued cause theyre coming out with a bunch of new phones(none of which i happen to like). so i threw out an offer of $200, and he bought it. i threw in some more money and got my new new phone.


its a samsung D900. as of right now, available overseas only. its a crazy fuckin phone. topping the list would be its 3mp flash camera. ill post more pics tomorrow, but for now, i just took a quick pic to show you the quality. the focus/macro on this thing is amazing. its basically a digital camera that can also make phone calls.




btw, i love watermelon gum...


another little fyi, no zooming or cropping was done with that pic. that is exactly as it was taken with the phone... the phone was about 1.5-2" away from the package.

yea i know. but in my defense, i was perfectly happy with the phone i had. i threw out the $200 offer as a joke, i didnt think he was actually gonna take it. but when he did, i figured i may as well take advantage, since i made a nice profit off of it.

not a fan at all. a friend had it, but returned it and got the bb8100. ive never liked any sidekicks, but thats just me. it just looks like a poorly made product. if i was ever to get a phone aimed at internet/messaging use i would get a blackberry. the sidekick is big, ugly, shittily designed(hate the rollerball), crappy screen quality... the list goes on. while playing around with the one a friend had, i never found anything i liked about it.



the d900 is by far the best phone ive ever had or used. i loved the razr v3i, but i got bored and moved to the t809, which had everything the v3i did, but did it better. now the d900 is multiple times over better than the t809. i will definetly be keeping this phone for awhile. at least until my contract is up next year... then ill probably get a new phone through cingular, sell both of them and upgrade to the "new shit" over in asia. cause we all know they get everything way before we do, and sometimes they get phones we never get.

seems like a nice pickup to me, i just had the d807, wasn't satisfied w/ its RF so i returned it, now i have the LG CU500, seems to be a winner.

i loved t-mobile's reception in my areas, but after my contract ended they tried to force me into a set of perkless plans, so i ended up telling them to go fack themselves.

cingular owns me for 2yrs.

I'm addicted to phones as well...I have the Treo 650 right now, but I'm gonna sell this and my dad's so I can get the Ericsson P910. I keep it old school B!!! Symbian OS FTL!!!!

I'd mess with one of these new phones but I hate how they look...I like a squarish phone w/a touch screen, full keyboard and decent camera. All these new origami rubix cube phones are a turn off.

i like this thread, ive actually been looking for a cool assed phone. I like the t809, but i never realized they discontinued it. As of right now, i have an L6 SLVR, and its a cool phone, but I really dig that hiptop 3, I love gadgets that have some sort of intuitive interface. I really really considdered getting the NEC L1, but i went for the L6 instead..

could any of you phone jockeys let me in on a phone i can get? or something to check out?
