    So, I just got T-boned.

    No more Cb for me. I was pulling out of my g/f's driveway, and she lives on a hill, and on a major highway, and this dude wasnt looking and he just slammed right into my car. He totalled his car and tore up the front left quarterpanel on mine, and the wheel is like, sticking out sideways. The tire is fine, the wheels are fine, the engine is fine, everything is fine but that one part. The brakes are shot however.

    I don't have any insurance, either... so I guess y'all can watch the parts for Sale forums for my part out thread so I can get up some money to pay all these bills, lol.

    Anyway, I just hope I can find another CB around here. They're pretty rare. If I do find one, chances are it'll be an automatic I can barely drive automatic, I don't feel at home unless I've got a clutch and a shifter!

    The damn collision was a split second from slamming into the driver's side door and killing me, too. But I got lucky, all I have is a nice case of whiplash.

    Shit happens. Oh well.

                  As I recall its the OP's fault since he was the one pulling out of the driveway. Was it avoidable? Most likely.

                    Since you were pulling out from a driveway onto a major thoroughfare its your fault automatically. Since you don't have insurance, most states will cite you for being at fault just because of your lack of insurance.

                    I don't see how "dude wasnt looking" covers it as he had the right of way.

                              This is why I'm paying $315/mo for full coverage...one of my homeboys sued me...he was in my Maxima when we crashed, got Geico for $13K and he didn't have a scratch on him...karma is a muhfukka man, don't steal, cheat or lie....
