I don't if any of you are familiar with the Inheritance Trilogy Books, but this movie looks pretty sweet IMO. Any thoughts?
The books are right up there with Harry Potter, and are great.

I liked it, b/c I was glad to see that Murtagh was still alive, and had become a rider, despite being bound to Galbatorix.
And b/c seeing how the book ended, you see what Eragon has to do next: go to the Menoa tree and get a new weapon, b/c murtagh took Zar'roc, and he isn't strong enough to fight them both so he'll need to speak his name to the vault of souls to get stronger. I'm very curious to see what trials he'll be going through to do these things. Oh and who his love is supposed to be. I can't really make my mind up about whether Arya is the one or not.
The actress they got playing Arya though is gorgeous, and British.
I think the movie will suck compared to the book, as always, but I think it will make the series more popular, and pressure Paolini to make the last one outstanding. Pressure usually helps make greater things, because he'll be using all his talents as an author to please the readers.
I just read it for the second time a couple days ago, so it's pretty fresh in my mind.

Edit: Oh and those bastard twins got they're heads smashed in by Roran which is definitely a bonus

Yeah John Malkovich will make a good insane, immortal, dragon-riding, magic-user.
And we'll see what the kid who's been in no movies does. Should be worth going to see if only to put a face to the characters. Personally I saw Eragon with Brown hair and eyes, but maybe that's b/c that's what I have, lol.

I'm curious to see who they get to play Jeod, and how the dwarves will be presented. Hopefully they don't use midgets for the dwarves, they just aren't convincing enough, lol.
