I can't sleep, as usual, so I went for a mini excursion... in a row boat...about 15 minutes ago...to a floating raft, 70 feet from the shore of a lake , here in Vermont. It is the raft, from which I sit and write this. I figured I'd take in some stars..and I see shooting stars about onces every few minutes. Amazing. Anyway, 3 years ago we had two tv channels here in Vermont... now, cable and wireless internet. Never agian will there be peace or rest.... unless I drop this damn laptop in the water.

You can get a broadband card for your laptop... I know here in CA/Western US Verizon Wireless carries broadband internet (I think other areas should have this too). So anwhere that carries a Verizon signal can access their broadband network. A road trip to Vegas is never boring anymore. We could watch streaming porn while driving through in the middle of the desert
