thinkin about getting another accord

well, on the way home from work today i saw a 93 EX Accord. a seafoam green colored one, whatever you call it. tan and black interior. great condition. and only 63,XXX original miles. one flaw: it has an automatic tranny. although, i will either swap a manual in, (maybe the one from my car) or just drive it as an automatic until i get an h22 swap.
oh, i forgot the price. $3300 OBO

300k miles, DX, beat up on the outside, needs a rebuild bad (i moved and dont have a garage at my new house).

Cool, and you can use your DX for spare parts if you need, lol. Sounds like a good deal, and yes, auto to manual swap that.

i want to do the swap obviously. but im apprehensive about swapping a 300k tranny into a 60k car with a 60k a6 motor. not the best of all worlds. i can just get a tranny from a you-pull-it yard.

yea, definitely get a tranny from a junk yard...at least there u will find abundant ones around 150k...has as much as u have now!!

Ionno. Junkyard trans vs. the one you've been driving...at least you know the what your tranny is like. Junkyard is a real gamble.

Personally I'd wait to find at least a Prelude Si. For the money you'd spend making the Accord what you want...

Nope.

They only came in LX. It probably has an aftermarket sunroof.

Keep it auto as a daily driver.
