hell yeah, i just had my first swift water rescue. it was cool as shit. some drunk guy was fishing in the river bottoms and fell down this 30ft. embankment and started to drown. i was second truck in but by the time i got there the other firemen had already reached him. this took place at salt river by the way for people around my area. after we finally got him to the bank squad (ems) called for stat care. so after rescueing this dude we had to set up an lz in the middle of a damn cornfield. it was fuckin awesome. ive been on for almost 2 years and this is the first one ive been too. just thought id share my last few hours with u guys.
