Sicknesssssss! Man...those Jap models were hot...I'm sad now...hehehe but it cheers me to think that I'm 'defining my own good personal tastes in todays sedans' :-D It is funny to think that our cars were expensive and something well-off business ppl drove! blows me mind...

I couldn't get over some of the parts they had.

        - LSD
        - TCS
        - Auto Climate
        - Nav
        - Leather
        - Power Seats
        - 4WS

I feel like I'm typing out the option list for a 2000+ Lexus. Hell, the 06 Accord doesn't have all those options.

I was shocked when I saw the rear bumper pole. I had talked to Clarkster probably about a year ago and he said that he found an Accord in Japan with a rear bumper pole. At the time I thought it was just someone who had installed another front bumper pole in back...and we just didn't know it. That's crazy.

That reminds me, I need to install my bumper pole when I take my current front bumper off for the winter.

Hmm...according to Wiki, you could get Nav (analog) on Accords since 1981 (a first)...and the 1990 Legend had digital nav.

                  Does analog = paper map?

couple interesting things in regards to the jdm accord

                    - lsd was an option on the accord 2 years before it was available on the jdm prelude

                    - the top of the line 4ws gets about the same fuel economy as a jdm celica gt-four (turbo all-wheel drive)

Too much jdm talk. The car itself is beautifully engineered inside and out.

                            ...adjust accordingly
