Im thinking of buying a new car soon and was just wondering what you guys think is better? They would both prolly be in the 2001-2002 year range.

I'd pick the G35 over either of those. I didn't fit very well in the 350z myself, but was very comfortable in the G35. The 350z is too bulbous/big for me when it comes to the exterior. I like the previous generation much more (90's 300zx Turbo model). I wouldn't mind an S2k either, but I'm not a fan of convertibles for daily use. I'd much rather have something like a del Sol, Supra or Porsche 914 with a removable roof.

On the s2k forum I am on, I think I may have seen a thread about one being stolen. That forum has 60k members.
Obviously, I went with an s2k, because the car is smaller than the beastly 350, and there are less people that drive an s2k around here.
I also looked at m3's, but realized why would I want to spend just as much money on a car with stupidly insane prices for parts, where everything is over-engineered, and is a bit older.
In the end its your choice, and depends on how you will drive it, what you will use, and what you want as a daily driver.
