How many of you carry a fire extinguisher in your ride?

Just curious, at the moment I dont but thats because my car is almost completely stock under the hood.

In the past its come in handy though once for someone elses car that proably would have been BBQ completely if I didn't have one.

i thought about gettin one to go on the passeger side piller. i always thought it looked cool. lol

I absolutely have a fire extinguisher in my car. I have it mounted right above the center hump in the backseat, below the rear seat cushion. Well, that's where it's supposed to be, it came off the other day so I have to remount it.

There are so many instances it could come in handy. My mom was in traffic once and there were firemen going car to car asking people if they had extinguishers.

I watched a stock Passat literally jump 2 feet off the ground as it exploded in the parking lot of my old restaurant.

I don't have an extinguisher yet, but I do plan on getting one.

on the pillar is ricey. youres isnt. i have to laugh at the fire dept askin for extinguishers though....shouldnt they have some sort of fire extinguishing devices?

I agree the pillar isn't a good place to have it, but I'm just saying in general safety is a good idea.

My mom said that because of the traffic, they couldn't get all the trucks in like they wanted to.

Carrying one and displaying it are two different things I've seen cars with one on each pillar... that's pretty dumb looking to me. Having it handy isn't a bad idea though.

havin one on EACH pillar is stupid. it makes no sence.. but havin 1 on just one pillar. well, i like it. i can care less who thinks its rice. i sure some people up here hav some type of rice on there cars anyway. lol

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard! It never hurts to be prepared for an incident, whether it's you or someone else. Maybe it'll take a fire for you to figure that out......

yea I carry one i did have like a industrial big ass one but it took up the back seat. Now I have one like Accordwarrior. I feel safer with a fire extinguisher

Never really thought about getting one because of mounting location. If anything Id like to mount it on the rear part of the rear seats(facing the trunk) but that might prove to be a non-useful location.
