Add an option for "Starting over". My first CB was done then sold. This CB is done in terms of turbo project. But she's coming off the road for a total rebuild.

I'm with zach...i love my cb, i really do, and id love nothing more than an H22, nice drop, nice wheels, good lookin interriorr, etc..but at this very moment..money does/will not permit. Perhaps with this move to AZ will come some extra cashflow. I'll be making more $$ with no rent/bills so perhaps i'll be able to save for those things but rent/bill free can only happen for so long...but when she breaks down like right now, reality sets in and it seems more important to focus on "keeping it running" maint than performance...But to answer the question--im just gettin started baby!

        >OT< Can i just say...is it just me or does the car, at first glance, in deev's sig look like a early 90's civic 4dr???

Currently working on manual conversion. Hopefully next week I get the engine from Sean, which has around 70k miles/Turbo<-The whole reason for the engine/manual conversion...That will be all for me. I dont care about exterior, the car itself is nice.

Im pretty content with where I am at the moment.Maybe eventually some jdm 1 pieces, very mild ground effects, and if my engine ever goes, possibly an h22.But thats way down the road.I do at times find it hard to justify spending so much money on a 12 yr old car.But the love that I have for the cb7, is a constant reminder of why we do what we do to these cars.

Im almost done. Aesthetically, on the outside, I only want muffler tips and a front end that lines up..maybe a spoiler. Under the hood, Ive started making it look pretty. I figure now that I have an engine worth showing off, Ill start making it near show-worthy. Suspension-wise, I only want to attach that EX rear sway bar sitting in my garage. Engine-wise..bit different. I dont know if I want to settle for stock h22 power or get cams or do a mild turbo build. Rebuild the 14b sitting in my garage or save for some cams..

I change project plans on a weekly basis, so I can't say too much.
I have a granada black '92 EX Sedan with 200,000 miles and no body damage.
I have a few other cars, bought the CB7 to have something nice but low profile, with no plans (yeah right).
I swapped to H23, then the (also 200k) motor crapped out after 1,000miles.

I loved it and I want it back.

My H22A_ needs rebuilding, had bent valves when I got it, but came with a M2B4 w/LSD.
I just won all brand new and all skunk2 (H22): stage II cams, flat face valves, Ti retainers and new valve springs off eBay!
Who knows where they'll end up?

I loved it and I want it back.
I want it back so bad that I'm going to put the BB1 down.

I'm going to take my perfectly good Prelude VTEC... and ...and
and take the engine, wheels and brakes for the CB7, bwoiaghahaha.

I have prelude seats and vtec calipers from parts cars.

It is really hard for me to leave it a complete sleeper, all of these parts are already purchased (except the springs), and will be the ONLY exterior "clues":

                    JDM "VTEC" trim badge
                    legal window tint
                    Prelude blades
the mild lowering from ProKit springs
and of course My CB7tuner.com & 200,000 Mile Club Stickers

I really just want to get to the point where all I have is to repaint it.
I've never had anything with good paint and body at the same time.

That entails the H22 install ($260 away)
full suspension upgrade (have bars, prothane set, hps)
full X/S ROH (VTEC), HPS pads
maybe dye the prelude seats to match the black and tan motif.
                    paint it.

The funny thing is this is my mildest car/project (the terms are interchangeable)
                    after CB7 comes....
Rebuild H22A (new bearings & Skunk2 head) to get my BB back
Putting the Built LS/VTEC in the CRX
                    SR20ing the '89 Coupe SX
Driving the SIL-180 into the ground

ummm.... what was that very first line in this post????

Anyway I've got it bad, and I'm a long way from "done" if that exists

The best thing I can do for my car right now is to learn as much as possible about everything from everyone here on CB7....My pain draws me here for comfort I guess.

The H22 Sleeper Sedan, updated 8/14
After 4 months down...It's back! and tucked.
Need a Swap or some work done in the DC/MD/VA/WV area?
PM me and get it done right!

well some modifications have been done, the simple stuff i/h/e. But ive spent so much money on keeping it running that mods have takin a back seat. But im about to loose my license so the car will sit for about a year and im getting a promotion at work so I'll get a lot accomplished. Engine work, suspension properlly done, exterior (body damage, fogs, 1pcs, red/clears, paint). So yea im nowhere near done and havent really started yet either, know what i mean??
