Anyone got a spare 17K

So out of complete boredom, I logged onto www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, since they have access to all the Honda parts, and I started building myself an black SE interior using their catalog. I included all the seats/doorpanels/rear parcel shelf/belts/carpet and pretty much everything you need to go black, without including the dash.

Total Cost: $16,670.51

And you thought the junkyard was expensive. A long time ago I remember hearing stories of how people had their GSR's considered totalled after people stripped the interior, and now I can see why. It was over $6,000 just for the front seats.

yeah back in the days the seats were almost worth more than the engines, or so it seemed. this was back when the 3rd gen Preludes were new. i knew someone that had one stolen and all the theives wanted was the interior. the insurance company said that Honda seats were gold and really expensive to replace so thats what they took.
