I've bought 3 sets of tires from them. The last time they dented my center caps reinstalling them. I only noticed weeks later. Suppose I should get another set.

some people just dont know what they are doing(employees of discount tire)...and sometimes you HAVE to be rough with the wheels even if it means scratching them or something....otherwise people get lippy beacause we took too long

I've had great experiences otherwise. I think its more that my centercaps are a bit flimsy. From the looks of it they had a lot of trouble seating the beads on my new tires.

my manager just got back form vacation(he was in san diego) and he said he stopped by their store and it was a shithole....worker-wise they are worthless

so they probably were just to lazy to clean your bead on your tire before trying to seat it

but then again what size tires do you have?

low pros are sometimes almost impossible to mount

yeah they scratched the shit out of all my gold wheels with me watching.. this motherfucker was acting like he was on a pit crew for nascar... when i confronted him and the manager they got a fuckin attitude i damn near got arrested..... he said the chips were already there when the wheels were refinished like 3 days earlier... sorry but from my experience... discount tire

im a calm ass person but there are a few things i dont tolerate..... fuckin with my car is one of those things we had an exchange of words!! and after that he threatened to not mount my fuckin tires i wasnt havin it.... needles to say i got 300 dollars for powdercoat and a formal apology

i went to wheel works and their alignment job didnt scratch up my rims at all (becaus eoyu have to mount the sensors on the edge of the rim)

You should take them to small claims court. Tire places scratch rims all the time, and then try an tell you that you did it while cleaning them or some BS. Not just Discount Tire, all of them.

yea we scratch wheels ALL the time

if a customer complains about it...and the managers REALLY believe it was us, then they buy you a brand new wheel, and give you like free roto's and bal's for a year or somehting

and with an impact you end up scoring up alot of shit, so usually when we buy them a new(aftermarket wheel) we put splines on too, so next time they wont get scratched

im sure not all of the discounts are truthful or honest, but the one i work at is extremely honest

Just "normal" 215/45 17's

I don't think I'll be getting tires from there again....especially if I get a set of Volks.

No Discount Tire in TN...

I usually buy my tires from Discount Tire or Tire Rack though.... but get them m&b at Wal-Mart for around $50 a set
