    New car...or toy?

well...so my stepfather has ALWAYS wanted a vette. he used to have one, like back in the 80's, but that was back in the day.

    he wants another one

    so...

    we're selling this car

    and buying this one...

    well...already bought it.

we're going up to Ft. Lauderdale to get it next weekend. already bought the plane tickets and everything.

so that'll set our driveway to a black cadillac, black corvette, and my seattle silver CB7

    p.s...

cadillac. i fucking love this car.

Automatics Might Be The Suck But It Will Still Woop Your Cb7 Lol. Not A Fan Of The Autos But They Are Still Somewhat Quick So Cant Hate On It.

The Corvette auto transmissions were very overbuilt and aren't that much slower than the manual versions.

He said it was for his stepfather...so maybe when you're older you don't want the hassle of driving stick? Or if you're just buying it for something to cruise around in?

Atleast he has the paddle shifters, I heard those things were quite fun.

holy shit dude, your parents are big time ballers!

my parents drive around in pos from the 80s and early 90s.
when i go to there house its like a time portal to the automotive years of 85-93.

In all fairness when you have that much power available auto vs. manual doesn't make that big of a difference.

hah, yeah. it's for my stepfather. hes had a manual all his life, his camaro IROCZ was a 5 spd, bmw 3series was, his other vette, and now, our cadillac, and our vette, they're both autos. paddle ftw.

his only automatic cars are the most recet bmw, the cadillac, and this vette.

well, cadillac is my moms car, but yeah.

if that was the case..i dont think i would buy a vette...

If i were to buy i vette, i would want to DRIVE the vette, not let the vette drive me
