long story short. i ordered a set of wheels/tires last wednesday and paid extra for 2day delivery so i would get them before the weekend. im just impacient and i really really wanted them. so i get home friday, and theye they are. i open them up, and theyre the wrong fucking wheels. i call them and the lady i talked to was very helpful.

fast foward to today. i call and ask for a refund on my shippin cost, since the wheels will take at least a week from my original order date, back when i paid for 2day delivery. the girl i was talking to asks me to hold while she talks to her supervisor. comes back on and says, she can give me a $50 gift certificate to put towards my next purchase.

now when the fuck am i gonna buy more wheels or tires??!?!?!?!?!! im about to get a brand fuckin new set!!!!!!!!


so i contacted the rep that was appointed to my sale and he said if they give me any trouble he would see what he can do. so hopefully ill get some sort of refund. i sure as fuck dont need a gift certificate. theyre the ones that fucked up, shouldnt they be accomodating to me?

I think it's awesome that they actually appointed a rep to your issue, not to mention
they're being totally helpful .. annnd .. appear to be doing the best they can.

I know thats no consolation to an already stressed out situation .. but many companies
would simply say .. "we'll get it right when we get it right .. we're only human .. blah, blah."

They are gonna pay for the shippment *back* to them .. no? And yes I would most certainly
think that there should be some sorta *discount* or *credit* to your CC for their mistake.

Gift Certificates are always offered in every case of some company fawkin up ..
Easier to write off .. lol .. annnd .. less paper work .. but, I'd fight for a credit of some sort.

They should refund what you paid to return the rims to them. Usually when you have to ship shit back to a company they authorize the pickup from your house and are billed for it. Or when I had to take it to FedEx I used their account number under the billing section, as they told me to. Once they receive the wrong rims they'll send yours out w/ 2 day delivery righT? I was a few days away from getting tires off them, but I think I'll double-check and see other sites now.

I would have double checked them until their ears bled showed them online of exactly what i wanted for what car and constantly repeat it tot hem until its beat into their heads. Its gettin hot and people are becoming well not the wisest of taking orders. They are just about the sale im sorry that your tirs and shit came to you like that maybe the person was easily distracted or was in a rush to get you off the phone you know how it is haste makes waste.

Take the certificate and sue it towards something else and learn a lesson not to do business with them anymore. I can only say god things about tirerack.com. Did the same lady you spoke to take your order ,not to be sexist or anything but when they get their uhhhhhh monthly cycle going on shit becomes outta balance. Dont even bother on the shipping cost thats their mistake take the certificate and get some hawk hps pads or something.

i wasnt appointed a rep for the mistake. there was one given to me because of the original order... guess thats just how it works.

they are paying for the original wheels to be returned, of course. if they wanted me to pay i wouldve raised hell.


anyways, all is well now. my rep, oscar, is a great guy. huge huge help throughout the entire process. honestly, if it wasnt for him, i would have a very sour taste in my mouth for tirerack. bottomline. he talked to his supervisor, basically going over the head of the previous decision and i will be getting a $75 credit to my account for the shipping error. and the new(correct) wheels are being shipped out today.
